GREEDY celebrities are nothing new to readers of this page, but the breathtaking display of naked graft-grasping by starlet Hilary Duff at the VMAs in Miami shocked even us.
The pouty prima donna apparently showed up with her entourage at the Krieger chronograph company's showcase, where, according to our spy, "she had her eye on a Krieger Gigantium valued at $15,000. After trying on the watches, including a $20,000 model, tempers flared when they realized they could not have those particular items for free.
The scene became mayhem." Proving that the squeaky wheel really does get the grease, Krieger Watch president Lance Burstyn gave Duff a $4,500 watch (bedecked with a white mother of pearl dial, diamond bezel and minkstrap) to keep the peace.
